北京时间6月8日，据记者Shams Charania报道，消息源透露，孟菲斯灰熊中锋扎克-埃迪本周在训练中再次扭伤左脚踝，将接受手术以重新稳定脚踝。
报道称，埃迪很可能缺席2025-26赛季初的比赛。
扎克-埃迪是2024年的首轮9号秀，2024-25赛季共代表灰熊出战66场比赛，在场均21.5分钟的出场时间里，可以得到9.2分8.3篮板1助攻1.3封盖。同时，他也入选了本赛季的最佳新秀阵容一阵。
