芭比娃娃制造商美泰6月2日宣布成立美泰工作室（Mattel Studios），整合旗下电影和电视部门。美泰影业总裁Robbie Brenner被任命为美泰工作室总裁兼首席内容官。
美泰目前有两部电影正在制作中：《宇宙巨人希曼》真人电影定于2026年6月5日在全球影院上映，《火柴盒》真人电影则于近期完成主要拍摄，预计明年秋季上映。
