6月2日，据日媒报道，石川佳纯采访中表示：吉村真晴比赛时我发消息为他加油，他回‘会努力的！’
石川佳纯说道：“比赛中我也发去消息，我说‘加油’，他回‘会努力的！’，我特别开心。吉村选手做了七年左右的混双搭档，我们是只差一年级的同龄人，即便我退役后他仍在坚持，这让我深受鼓舞。”
吉村真晴/石川佳纯曾在2017年世锦赛（德国杜塞尔多夫）混双比赛中，摘得金牌。
