当地时间5月29日，加拿大萨斯喀彻温省省长宣布，因野火形势严峻，全省进入紧急状态。
这是继曼尼托巴省后，加拿大第二个因野火进入紧急状态的省。该省紧急状态将持续30天，并可根据需要延长。
