伯纳尔去年与巴萨续约至2026年，双方已商定激活续约选项，今年5月26日（球员年满18岁）后将合同延长至2029年，巴萨去年9月份就确认球员的解约金为5亿欧元。
伯纳尔本赛季因十字韧带受伤长期缺席，仅为巴萨出战3场比赛。
