5月19日，海南海口一辆轿车行驶过程中拖着一只猫，绳索一头绑在猫爪上，另一头系在车底，车辆快速从街区通行。有市民见状报警，警方找到车辆后将驾驶员控制，猫已不幸身亡，此事引发关注。
