北京时间5月20日，官方消息，日本国脚渡边刚当选比甲根特队年度最佳球员。
渡边刚，现年28岁，德转身价900万欧元，身高186cm，司职后卫，右脚球员，本赛季球员代表根特队在各项赛事中出场48次，其中47次为首发出场，贡献3球3助攻。
渡边刚是日本国家队的边缘球员，他此前随队参加了亚洲杯，并在世预赛中有出场。
目前，渡边刚与根特队的合同至2027年，据称费耶诺德有意签下球员。
