5月14日，湖南株洲一患病老人在银行取款时死亡，引发广泛关注。5月16日，老人家属彭先生告诉大河报《看见》记者，已与银行方面协商一致，达成和解。
彭先生表示，银行方面将负责老人的丧葬费用，“以慰问金的形式”向家属支付10万元，“(协议)是我表妹跟他们签的”。（大象新闻）
