5月16日，小米创始人雷军在微博发文感慨小米造芯历程，称“十年饮冰，难凉热血”，并追溯造芯之路始于2014年9月。他还分享了2017年2月小米首次芯片发布会的照片。
此前，雷军宣布小米自主研发设计的手机SoC芯片“玄戒O1”将在5月下旬发布。
