当地时间5月13日，欧洲央行管委、法国央行行长弗朗索瓦·维勒鲁瓦德加洛（François Villeroy de Galhau）表示，鉴于贸易紧张局势并未加剧该地区的通胀，该央行到夏季可能会再次下调借贷成本。维勒鲁瓦表示，“特朗普政府的保护主义将导致美国重新出现通胀，但在欧洲不会如此，这无疑使得现在到夏季之间再度降息成为可能。”
