根据日本政府发布的数据，2024年全日本孤独死亡（含自杀）人数为21,856人。其中，65岁以上的老年人占15,630人，占比约72%；而15至64岁的“劳动人口”则占近30%。按年龄分布来看，50多岁的孤独死者最多，达2,740人；其次为40多岁的独居者，共755人。
