美国石油公司埃克森美孚(ExxonMobil)已与日本公司丸红(Marubeni)签署了一项承购协议，从其位于德克萨斯州的贝敦(Baytown)项目中购买25万吨蓝氨。
Marubeni计划将氨运往日本，然后到2030年，它将供应给神户钢铁，以便在大阪附近的1.4GW煤电厂启动共燃。
虽然埃克森美孚尚未对Baytown项目做出最终投资决定，但它在社交媒体网站LinkedIn上将交易描述为“最终决定”。
