北京时间5月9日，詹姆斯在播客节目《Mind the Game》中谈到了森林狼的前景。
詹姆斯说道：“我确信他们即使进不了NBA总决赛，也能进西部决赛，显然，季后赛里健康就是财富。他们阵容齐全。投篮好，身材高大，脚步快，组织进攻好，经验丰富，防守全面。他们打得非常努力。他们的教练组值得称赞。”
