5月7日，南京鼓楼区湖南路建伟大厦发生火灾。网传视频显示，大楼冒出浓烟，现场可见火光。

南京市消防救援支队回应称，“知晓此事，具体原因后续将进行通报。”鼓楼区应急管理局表示，“目前火灾已经扑灭。”
公开资料显示，建伟大厦位于南京市鼓楼区中山北路88号，2005年5月竣工完成。大厦总楼层28层，规划面积4500平方米，建筑面积28000平方米。
