5月1日，阿森纳官方公布了队内4月最佳球员候选名单，分别是基维奥尔、马丁内利、特罗萨德和赖斯。
4月份，阿森纳在各项赛事中一共进行了8场比赛，战绩为4胜3平1负，其中欧冠1/4决赛双杀皇家马德里晋级，唯一失利是欧冠半决赛首回合主场0-1不敌巴黎圣日耳曼，5场英超2胜3平导致无缘夺冠。
