针对国王杯决赛伤停补时阶段的争议判罚，《世界体育报》裁判专家Barrenechea Montero发表了看法。
本场比赛常规时间最后阶段，费兰-托雷斯在禁区内被吕迪格踢倒，主裁判并没有表示，VAR也没有提示。
不久之后，拉菲尼亚在突入禁区后被劳尔-阿森西奥放倒，主裁判一开始判罚点球，但在观看VAR后取消点球判罚。
对此裁判专家Barrenechea Montero表示：“拉菲尼亚确实是跳水，但是费兰-托雷斯的倒地是明显的点球。”
