北京时间4月22日凌晨，英冠第44轮，西布朗坐镇主场迎战德比郡，最终西布朗1-3不敌德比郡。
赛后，西布朗官方宣布，解雇主帅莫布雷，另外助理教练马克-维纳斯也离开了俱乐部。
莫布雷于今年1月接手西布朗，执教球队仅仅3个月后便下课。
目前，西布朗在44轮英冠联赛过后积60分排名第10，落后升级附加赛区的考文垂6分，只剩理论可能晋级升级附加赛区。
