谈及篮板球方面的下滑，比克斯塔夫表示：“当我们状态最佳的时候，我们能抢好篮板并打出快攻转换。现在我们只需要重新找回那种状态就行。很明显，一些球员缺阵也对我们有影响。”
赛季至今，活塞场均抢下44.9篮板，排名联盟第十一位。
