总台记者当地时间4月7日获悉，海地帮派武装对距离首都太子港10公里的肯斯科夫镇发动袭击，造成262人死亡，66人受伤，3000多人逃离该镇。200多栋房屋被烧毁。据此前统计，该镇居民有4000多人。
面对继续恶化的安全局势，海地媒体报道说，海地临时政府已签署命令，宣布全国处于安全和人道主义紧急状态。
