由香港观鸟会统筹的“全球黑脸琵鹭同步普查2025”4月2日公布结果，称全球黑脸琵鹭数量较上一年增长1.3%，即增加93只。自1994年普查以来，黑脸琵鹭数量首次超过7000只，达7081只。其中，中国增幅最大，显示鸟类保护成果显著。
