北京时间3月26日，湖人球星勒布朗-詹姆斯参加了播客节目《The Pat McAfee Show》，在节目中他聊到了03年被骑士选中的事情。
詹姆斯说：“我看了选秀抽签，当那颗球掉下来的时候，骑士确实获得了状元签，不过我不在意那是不是真的。比如让勒布朗被家乡选中，让尤因去尼克斯，让罗斯去公牛？我理解其中可能有原因，不过我只是想做好自己。”
