SEC（东南体育联盟，是美国大学体育联盟之一）成最大赢家，SEC成为历史上第一个有7支球队进入NCAA锦标赛16强的联盟。
这七支球队分别是阿拉巴马大学、肯塔基大学、田纳西大学、阿肯色大学、奥本大学、佛罗里达大学、密西西比大学。
