On March 11, Manus announced a strategic partnership with Alibaba Cloud’s Qwen, to fully integrate its capabilities with Alibaba’s open-source AI models on domestic computing platforms. The two technical teams are working closely to develop more advanced and creative general AI solutions tailored for Chinese users.
Manus has been rapidly expanding, securing an A-round fundingin November 2024, led by Tencent and Sequoia China, with participation from ZhenFund and entrepreneur Wang Huiwen. Previously, the company raised two rounds from ZhenFund in February and August 2023.
