当地时间3月2日，前往英国伦敦参加峰会的意大利总理梅洛尼与英国首相斯塔默会面。
梅洛尼强调必须避免西方分裂，并提议美国和欧洲领导人举行会议，因为跨大西洋的各方“都致力于乌克兰实现公正和持久的和平”。
