继《生化危机4》、《生化危机5》、《生化危机6》以及《生化危机：起源合集》之后，ESRB对《生化危机：启示录》的Xbox Series X | S版本进行了评级。这样看来卡普空将在系列30周年之际，在现代主机上重新发行所有列出的游戏。
《生化危机：启示录》于2012年作为任天堂3DS的独占游戏发布。一年后，该游戏移植到了PlayStation 3、Xbox 360、WII U和PC。又过了三年，游戏登陆PlayStation 4、Xbox One和Nintendo Switch。
