2月16日，成都蓉城官方宣布，40岁老将刘涛合同到期不再续约，现任队长周定洋为他送上了祝福。
刘涛自2019年开始效力成都蓉城，和球队一起从中乙踢到了中超，也曾是球队的第二队长，为球队出战超过百次。上赛季，他没有代表成都蓉城出场。今天，俱乐部正式官宣了他离队。
周定洋在社交媒体上祝福道：“队长，领袖，传奇 荣幸成为队友，一起并肩战斗。刘队，祝未来一切顺利！”
