北京时间2月12日，德甲官方通过FC 25 UTeam宣布，维尔茨当选德甲1月最佳球员。
德甲官方公告：
维尔茨在一月份展现了他不可阻挡的最佳状态，在参加的4场德甲联赛中，他打进2球并有2次助攻，使他成为联赛中效率最高的球员——每72分钟就能参与一次进球。
此外，维尔茨贡献参与了19次射门，仅有埃基蒂克和凯恩比他更多，同时，他的场均比赛跑动距离达到了令人印象深刻的11.5公里。
