2月12日，发行商万代南梦宫和开发商Omega Force宣布，《海贼无双4》销量现已突破400万，游戏即将登陆新平台PS5和Xbox Series X|S，具体发售时间待定，这两个版本将包含迄今为止发布的所有可下载内容角色和任务，并且游戏还计划推出更多可下载内容。
