1月27日，河南省野生动物保护中心工作人员在开展重点野生动物监测时，发现有6000多只灰鹤齐聚开封兰考黄河湿地栖息越冬，它们在河床里或黄河滩地休憩觅食、嬉戏飞翔，给冬日的黄河湿地增添了无限生机与活力。
近年来，当地不断加大对黄河流域生态环境的保护力度，来此栖息的灰鹤数量逐年增加。
