赛季过半谈及太阳，布登表示：“我们有很多方面希望能做得更好。进攻方面：加快比赛节奏，打得更具随机性，让每位球员都参与进来，多投三分球，在比赛节奏放缓时，通过布克和杜兰特组织进攻。防守方面：提升篮板球拼抢能力，加强挡拆防守。”
目前，太阳22胜21负排在西部第十位。
