1月16日，香港证监会宣布，虚拟资产交易平台牌照的所有新申请者可按证监会的迅速发牌程序申领牌照。新的发牌方式要求虚拟资产交易平台申请者先落实内部的政策、程序、系统及监控措施，然后对有关措施进行外部评价。
