1月8日，东方甄选发布声明称，东方甄选从未有人在任何场合辱骂董宇辉，将文稿和样品甩脸上、禁止董宇辉老师开播、取消门禁权限之类剧情，更是无稽之谈。在“与辉同行”独立经营前，此类谣言就已在网络上流传。对此，公司将坚决采取法律手段维护自身合法权益，追究造谣者的法律责任。
