意大利数据保护局（Garante）12月20日公告称，在结束对生成式人工智能应用程序使用个人数据的调查后，对ChatGPT制造商OpenAI处以1500万欧元（约合1558万美元）的罚款。Garante称，它发现OpenAI处理用户的个人数据是为了在没有充分法律依据的情况下训练ChatGPT，违反了透明度原则和对用户的相关信息义务。
