On December 17 in Beijing, the National Immigration Administration announced an eased transit visa-free policy. The stay period has been extended to 10 days (240 hours), and 21 new ports have been added, bringing the total to 60. The permitted stay areas have been expanded to 24 provinces. Eligible foreigners from 54 countries can now enter through these 60 ports and stay within the specified areas for purposes such as tourism, business, and more. The policy aims to boost international exchanges, cooperation, and support relevant industries.
