12月5日，英特尔宣布，阿斯麦前总裁、首席执行官兼董事长埃里克·莫里斯（Eric Meurice）和微芯科技董事长兼临时首席执行官史蒂夫·桑吉（Steve Sanghi）已被任命为英特尔董事会成员，任命立即生效。两人都将担任独立董事。
