11月8日，软银集团旗下通信子公司“软银公司”首席执行官宫川润一表示，已告知Rapidus公司，愿意向这家日本芯片初创公司追加投资。宫川润一说，鉴于半导体不是软银的核心业务领域，软银能提供的金额将是有限的。
