日前参加播客节目《Off The REcourt》时，希腊帕纳辛奈科斯男篮主帅阿尔金-阿塔曼表示，NBA冠军并不是世界冠军。
阿尔金-阿塔曼说道：“你们（NBA上赛季冠军波士顿凯尔特人）不是世界冠军，你们只是NBA冠军，而我们是欧洲篮球联赛冠军，如果你想成为世界冠军，就来和我们比赛，打败我们，你们就能成为世界冠军了。”
现年58岁的阿尔金-阿塔曼来自土耳其，今年5月，他率领帕纳辛奈科斯获得篮球欧冠冠军。
