台积电传出高雄厂第一座2纳米厂将于11月26日举行进机典礼，并自12月1日展开装机，台积电10月29日并未正面回应，仅表示高雄晶圆厂兴建工程按照计划进行，并且进展良好，2纳米将如期于2025年量产。（台湾经济日报）
