智通财经APP获悉，10月24日，摩根士丹利宣布，首席执行官Edward (Ted) Pick被董事会推选为董事长一职，自 2025年1月1日起生效。James Gorman将按预期于2024年底辞去董事长一职、并离开董事会。Gorman先生还将从摩根士丹利退休，并被任命为名誉董事长。
Gorman在5月曾表示，他将在今年年底卸任，预计Pick将接任。该行表示，为向Gorman致敬，Gorman离开董事会后将担任“荣誉董事长”。Gorman本周刚被迪士尼委任为董事长，他一直在帮助该公司寻找Bob Iger的接班人。
