住建部部长倪虹10月17日在国新办新闻发布会上表示，为了适应生育二孩的需要支持地方结合实际，增加保障对象住房面积，各城市政府结合当地实际，优化完善房地产政策同时，一定要加大保障力度，兜牢住房保障底线。到今年年底，计划让450万青年人、新市民能够住进保障性住房。
