据丹麦足球杂志《Tipsbladet》透露，丹麦足协联系了曼联名宿索尔斯克亚，邀请他来执教丹麦国家队，但索尔斯克亚拒绝了丹麦足协的邀请。

索尔斯克亚正在与一家大俱乐部就主教练职位进行商谈，因此他不愿与丹麦足协就执教丹麦国家队进行沟通。
