国际货币基金组织（IMF）总裁克里斯塔利娜·格奥尔基耶娃9月21日宣布，计划任命刘岩为IMF法律总顾问兼法律部主任。刘岩将接替Rhoda Weeks-Brown，预计将于2024年10月7日正式上任。刘岩于1999年加入IMF，任法律顾问；此后，她逐步晋升，直至目前的副法律总顾问一职。
