在黎巴嫩首都贝鲁特，有不少民众在接受采访时表示，近几日发生的通信设备爆炸事件令很多无辜儿童被炸伤、炸死，他们感到气愤又非常恐慌，人们已不敢随身携带手机等电子设备。
还有民众表示，美国和以色列就是通信设备爆炸事件的幕后黑手。
黎巴嫩公共卫生部当地时间19日表示，17日和18日发生的通信设备爆炸事件共导致37人死亡。
