【9 月 19 日消息，当地时间 9 月 18 日，越南政府总理范明政签署决定，成立特别工作组负责越中、越老铁路投资项目。】越南交通运输部部长阮文胜任工作组组长。该工作组将研究、咨询并提出相关方向、解决方案、机制和政策等，以消除障碍、调动资源，加快铁路项目实施，优先投资老街-河内-海防线路，力争 2025 年内开工。
