【9 月 9 日，海南商发消息：9 月 6 日下午 16 时 20 分，超强台风“摩羯”在文昌翁田镇海岸登陆。】新建成不到一年的海南商业航天发射场首次面临此强台风，风力 17 级，登陆中心最高风速为 62 米/秒。该发射场经受住了第一个超强台风大考，提前预判并重点保护的风险点未受损，场区值班人员无伤亡。
