为接轨经合组织（OECD）主推达成的“全球最低企业税率”，台湾财政部门8月28日宣布，自2025年度起，合并年收入达7.5亿欧元的跨国企业集团，其在台湾地区境内的营利事业适用的基本税额征收率将由现行的12%调高至15%。台媒初步估计36家大型科技、金融企业将受影响。
