在2024上海书展上，诗人余秀华携新诗集《后山开花》亮相上海书城，大家就“恋爱脑”等话题进行讨论。余秀华认为“恋爱脑”是褒义词。“如果恋爱时都不是恋爱脑，只计较利益、交换，怎么享受恋爱呢？谈恋爱时就是要牵肠挂肚呀，分开时把’恋爱脑’收回就好了”。（东方网·纵相视频 熊芳雨 柏可林 俞霖）
