8月14日消息，中国自动驾驶初创公司文远知行（WeRide）获得了美国加州的批准，根据该州公用事业监管机构颁发的许可证，文远知行可以对其无人驾驶车辆进行载客测试。加州公共事业委员会（CPUC）本月早些时候颁发的许可证允许文远知行在有司机或没有司机的情况下使用测试车辆载客，该许可证有效期为三年。但文远知行不允许向公众提供乘车服务，也不能收取任何费用。
