北京时间8月9日，巴黎奥运会乒乓球项目男子团体决赛，中国队以3-0的比分战胜瑞典队，夺得金牌。赛后，王楚钦接受了采访。
王楚钦表示：“我觉得团体决赛这两场赢下来，我认为无论怎么样还是给自己打100分。”
谈到奥运结束，他表示：“结束的那一刻我还是希望能好好地去休息休息，确实现在不太想摸拍。”
