北京时间7月23日，根据美国记者Keith Smith报道，被爵士裁掉的后卫威斯布鲁克已经度过澄清期，成为完全自由球员。
此外，根据报道，威斯布鲁克在买断中放弃了400万美元合同中的170万美元，这样合同只会占据爵士230万美元的空间。
根据此前报道，威斯布鲁克将在澄清期过后加盟丹佛掘金。
